• Man found dead in NW Atlanta home

ATLANTA - A man was shot and killed inside his northwest Atlanta home.

Police said the man was alone inside his Bolton Road home when he was found by a friend early Tuesday morning.

"When I got here, I knocked on the door and I knocked on the door and he didn't come to the door," a friend of the man said.

He said he saw his friend's body when he looked in the window. He said he flagged down a police officer and told her what he saw.

"I looked in the curtain and saw him lying back and it looked like something red on his shirt," the friend said.

Police said the man is in his mid-20s and there is no sign of a break-in.

Investigators said they have no witnesses or suspects.
