Lawyer allegedly shot 8 times by husband files for divorce

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A Sandy Springs attorney shot eight times outside her apartment last year has filed for divorce from her husband.

Prosecutors say Michael Parson shot his wife Adina Parson last April because he was engaged to be married to another woman.

Adina Parson survived and is recovering and now wants a divorce from her husband.

Parson could stand trial for the shooting sometime in the next few weeks.
