Killer leaves body on sidewalk in SW Atlanta

ATLANTA, Ga. — Investigators are trying to figure out who killed a man and then left his body on a sidewalk in southwest Atlanta.

Neighbors hugged and cried when they heard the news.

Atlanta police said the body was found on Olympian Way. They said the victim was shot in the head.

"We do not know why this  incident occurred, so we're asking anybody that may have seen something to give us a call," said Atlanta police Capt. Paul Guerrucci.

Police said the victim is in his late 40s.
