Father: Fulton County assistant DA paralyzed

ATLANTA — As assistant district attorney shot in southwest Atlanta late April may not walk again.

April McConnell’s father told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution she is paralyzed from the waist down.

Atlanta police say her estranged husband shot her in a car before killing himself.

McConnell is now at the Shepherd Center for treatment.
