• I-85 northbound in Gwinnett reopens after crash


    GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Interstate 85 northbound in Gwinnett Count has reopened after a crash involving an overturned pickup truck.

    Authorities tell Channel 2 Action News the crash is at I-85 north, north of Hamilton Mill Road. The pickup truck involved was pulling a motor home. A tour bus carrying 48 people was also involved in the wreck, authorities said.

    Two people received minor injuries from the crash.

    I-85 northbound was closed for about 45 minutes while crews cleared the scene, Department of Transportation officials said.

    Officials told Channel 2 Action News I-85 northbound reopened about 1 p.m., although backups remain in the area.
