• I-20 eastbound cleared after fatal wreck

ATLANTA - All lanes of Interstate 20 eastbound were closed near Candler Road Friday morning after a pickup truck went under a tractor-trailer.

The Georgia Department of Transportation confirmed one person died in the crash. The victim was identified as 30-year-old Brandon Marks of Lithonia.

Police say preliminary investigation shows the tractor trailer experienced problems with the air brakes and came to a stop in one of the travel lanes. Police say Marks, who was driving a pickup truck, slammed into the back of the tractor trailer.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured, according to police.

Investigators are still investigating the crash.
