Isaias weakens to tropical storm as it approaches Florida
Part of the Georgia coast is now under a tropical storm watch according to 11 a.m. advisory for Hurricane Isaias.

Hurrican Isaias weakened to a tropical storm Saturday afternoon as it churned toward the Florida coast. The storm is expected to re-strengthen to a hurricane overnight Saturday.

People up and down the southeast coast are finishing up their preparations for the storm as some areas could start to feel impacts Saturday night.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon has been tracking the storm all morning on Channel 2. Right now, Isaias is moving over the Bahamas northwest at 12 mph.
