• Horse rescued from drainage ditch


    FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Forsyth County and Milton fire crews rescued a horse from a drainage ditch Wednesday afternoon.

    The 28-year-old horse named Dusty had slipped into the ditch off Stablegate Court in Forsyth County. All four of his legs got stuck in the ditch.

    With the help of the Milton Fire Department’s Large Animal Rescue Unit, they were able to get the horse out safely using a horse rescue apparatus.

    The horse was checked by vets and reunited with his owners.
