GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police have arrested a man suspected in the death of a Duluth man.
Jabari Pettway was found dead on Nov. 2 on Lenora Road in unincorporated Snellville. The 23-year-old's body was found on the grass that leads to a private driveway to the pasture.
On Nov. 11, Pettway’s stolen Dodge Avenger was recovered in the city of Atlanta with heavy fire damage.
On Tuesday, police announced the arrest of Melvin Kent Roberts Jr. and charged him with murder, aggravated assault, theft by taking, parole violations and other charges. %

The 25-year-old is being held without bond.
Pettway’s family said the two considered each other friends.
They want to know if other people were involved.
“One person couldn't have done this to him, it had to be multiple people,” Casandra Mosley said
Police say Roberts was on probation and parole for other charges at the time of the murder.
