1 of 2 women believed to be missing with caregiver has been found

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police say a woman they feared was missing with a wanted caregiver has been found safe.

The family of Linda Williams said she had not been seen for months. Investigators say Williams and another woman, Linda Kimble, lived in personal care homes operated by Kishia Mitchell.

Police said they want to speak to Mitchell about the disappearance of the two women, but they haven't been able to locate her.

“Kishia Mitchell has gone missing. She has active warrants for her arrest,” said Cpl. Michelle Pihera with the Gwinnett County Police Department told Channel 2’s Tony Thomas on Monday.

Investigators said they located Linda Williams at Adult Protective Services in Gwinnett County on Monday afternoon after getting tips from multiple reports about her disappearance.

Police said they believe Williams was dropped off at a protective services location in October by either Mitchell or someone associated with her.

Linda Kimble is still missing, and police still do not know where Mitchell is.
