OGLETHORPE COUNTY, Ga. — Little acts of kindness can make big impacts in someone’s life.
A Georgia State Patrol trooper driving down a road in Oglethorpe County noticed an older man had slipped and fell while cutting the grass this morning.

EMS were called to the scene to check the man out and while crews were evaluating him, the GSP trooper finished the job the man had started.

Dressed in his uniform, the trooper finished up mowing the ditch the man was working on. He didn’t even worry about getting his shiny shoes dirty.
Oglethorpe County EMS posted the photo on its Facebook page and a message that summed up the entire incident: This is what community is about.
