Grab an umbrella: Last day for rain and storms for a while

ATLANTA — The rain and storms are gone and Saturday begins a stretch of dry weather.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz said the upper level low that’s kept the wet weather in the area is beginning to lift away. But we did see some scattered showers and storms Friday afternoon.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Scattered rain, storms possible through Friday evening
  • High temperatures reached into the 80s
  • The next week we should have warm and dry weather
