ATLANTA - It was a chilly start to Easter Sunday but temperatures will be warming into the 70s later today.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon said most of north Georgia woke up to temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s Sunday.
The stark drop in temperatures follows a cold front that brought storms, heavy rain and at least one confirmed tornado to north Georgia on Friday.
Luckily, skies will be mostly clear by Sunday afternoon with temperatures climbing to the mid-70s.
Weather conditions will remain quiet and dry through midweek. Highs will warm up to near 80 degrees Monday. Lower to mid 80s Tuesday and Wednesday.
