Police seek man suspected of exposing himself to a 5-year-old

Bremen police are looking for a man who exposed himself to a 5-year-old girl last Friday at the KFC/Taco Bell on U.S. Highway 27.
The man is described as being in his 60s, wearing a purple tank top, black shorts and possibly a strap holding his glasses.
The scene unfolded as the girl's grandmother went to the buffet, all the while keeping an eye on her granddaughter. Meanwhile, security cameras show, the man finished his meal, threw out his trash and moved to a table facing the child.
"See how he looks around?" said Bremen Police Chief Keith Pesnell. "How he checks out everything? Then he looks at her."
At first, the girl was unable to tell her grandmother what happened.
"But when the gentleman left, she told me that he exposed hisself to her, showed his private," said the grandmother who did not want to be identified.
The incident traumatized the child, her grandmother and the restaurant's owner, John Simmons.
"We're a family operation," he said. "A small franchise so we take this very seriously. We want the public to feel they're safe coming here. That we've done everything we can to help the police with this situation."
Bremen police ask anyone with information about to the incident to call 770-537-4441.
"And we feel that if he done it there with a little 5-year-old we want to make sure he's not out doing something else," said Pesnell.
