FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — At least four families have lost their homes in a fire, according to officials.
City of South Fulton firefighters told Channel 2 Action News crews responded to a large fire at the Beacon Ridge Apartments on Old National Highway in College Park.

When crews arrived, they found that one of the back buildings in the complex was on fire.
With the help of College Park firefighters and Union City firefighters, the fire was put out in 45 minutes.

Officials said at least four apartments out of the 12 in the complex had been destroyed.
No injuries were reported.

The cause is under investigation.
