FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Crews from Union City were on the road Thursday morning after a large amount of corn spilled onto the roadway.

The Fairburn Police Department said on a Facebook post that a truck carrying a load of corn malfunctioned on Fayetteville Road near Goodson Road around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said drivers should use extra caution as crews continue cleaning the area.
A Channel 2 Action News photographer saw crew members from Union City Public Services and Police Department using leaf blowers to suck up the corn on the roadway.
