Early Saturday, seven people rammed a vehicle into Forsyth County Pawn on Atlanta Road.

Police chased the suspects into Alpharetta, where their vehicle crashed. Authorities were searching a silver pickup truck at the crash site.

Several guns were recovered at the crash site, police said. It is not known whether the suspect at large is armed.

Five of the people in custody are adult males. The sixth is a 16-year-old male. They are being charged with armed robbery, according to the Forsyth County sheriff's office.

More than 75 police officers were involved in the search. Agencies included Alpharetta police, Milton police and Forsyth County sheriff’s deputies.

A Georgia State Patrol helicopter also is involved.

Residents in the area were told to stay in their houses and to not answer their doors while police conducted their search.

The break-in woke up an employee who was staying at the pawn shop overnight, police said.
