FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Forsyth County schools say they are missing around 10,000 books that were checked out during the 2019-2020 school year – but never returned.
We all know that the pandemic interrupted our lives last year, and that includes school media centers and libraries.

Now, school officials are asking for families to return all of those books.
Forsyth County spokesperson Jennifer Caracciolo told Channel 2 Action News that there will be no fines or penalties for the overdue books.

The school system is even holding a “Super Book Return Challenge” through Friday in an effort for families to return their books.
Families can return the books to any Forsyth County school.
