Severe storms roll through parts of north Georgia

Tornado Warning issued for Greene County until 5:45 on Monday

ATLANTA — Tornado Warnings were issued in several counties in north Georgia on Monday. All warnings have been canceled or they've expired.

5:45 p.m.

The Tornado Warning in Greene County has expired.

5:30 p.m.

The storm is weaker than it had been, but Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz says it's still dangerous.

5:13 p.m.

A Tornado Warning has been issued for Greene County.

4:43 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Greene and Morgan counties.

4:17 p.m.

The Tornado Warning in Rockdale County has been canceled. There is currently a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Rockdale and DeKalb counties.

4:15 p.m.

"The storm is showing signs of weakening," Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns said.

4:10 p.m.

The Tornado Warning has been canceled in Henry County. It's still in effect in Rockdale County.

4:08 p.m.

"If you're traveling west out of the city on I-20, there is a dangerous storm moving toward that area," Glenn Burns just said on Channel 2 Action News at 4.

4:05 p.m.

Glenn Burns is urging people in Henry and Rockdale counties to take cover and go to the lowest point in your home.

3:55 p.m.

A Tornado Warning has been issued for Henry and Rockdale counties.
