Mother of FedEx shooting victim released from hospital, speaks on son's condition

COBB COUNTY, Ga — Brandyn Stonebraker, one of six FedEx shooting victims, was released from Kennestone Wellstar Hospital this week.

Stonebraker was hit in the arms, legs, neck and stomach by birdshots from the gunman’s shotgun shells, according to officials.

Stonebraker’s physical injuries are healing, but his mother said it will take a lot longer to work through the emotional scars.

“I think that, you know, getting him some follow up care, maybe talking to someone about the incident,” said Theresia Sutton.

The shooter, 19-year-old Geddy Kramer too his own life after the shooting rampage inside the FedEx ground facility in Kennesaw on Tuesday, according to police.
