ATLANTA, Ga. — Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash on the downtown connector.
GSP officials said the man was crossing several lanes of I-75 southbound near Courtland Avenue when a Hyundai hit the victim, sending him in the path of a Lincoln Towncar traveling in another lane.
The accident shut down several southbound lanes shortly after noon.
The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
