FarmRich frozen pizzas, snacks recalled over E.coli outbreak

ATLANTA — Rich Products Corp. is recalling frozen pizzas and snacks due to an E.coli bacteria contamination at a Georgia plant.

Last week, the company announced a recall of Farm Rich Philly cheese steaks, mini quesadillas, mini pizza slices and mozzarella bites. Now, the recall has been expanded to include Farm Rich mini bacon cheeseburgers. The affected products have "best by" dates from Jan. 1 through Sept. 29.

"We have no information of any illnesses associated with these products included in the expanded recall, but your safety and the safety of all of our customers is our absolute No.1 priority," the company said on its website.

Officials are working with federal agencies to determine what led to the contamination at the Waycross plant.
