    ATLANTA,None - An escaped Fulton County Jail inmate who eluded capture for more than a day was caught Sunday night.

    Rodney Askew, 47, walked away from a work site near Banneker High School in south Fulton County shortly after 2 p.m. Friday, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said he was wearing a gray sweatshirt and a tan uniform marked with, “inmate worker” on the back of the shirt and down the leg.

    County deputies, along with other local, state and federal law enforcement officers were tracking Askew. They said he was spotted in a stolen car, and authorities caught up with him near Adair and Olive Streets and southeast Atlanta.
