• Emory rape suspect sketch released


    ATLANTA - Emory police have released a composite sketch of a suspect in the reported rape of a female Emory student.

    The alleged attack happened near campus in a wooded area near Dowman Drive on Feb. 11 at about 11:15 p.m.

    The suspect was described as a man in his mid-to-late 50's, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a reddish or brown beard. He was wearing a brown knit cap, a tan or brown jacket, dark blue jeans and brown boots. He was last seen running from campus toward the Emory Village.

    Emory Police are actively investigating the incident. Anyone who recognizes this individual or has any information about this incident is urged to contact Emory Police at 404-727-6111.
