• Drivers stuck for hours in Carroll County I-20 crash


    CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. - A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 20 in Carroll County tied up drivers for hours.

    The Georgia State Patrol said one tractor-trailer was rear-ended by another tractor-trailer and caught fire. All lanes of I-20 westbound were closed at mile marker 20 until about 6:30 a.m.

    GSP said one truck driver from South Carolina was seriously injured and flown to an Atlanta hospital.

    At 5:30 a.m., Channel 2 Action News viewers reported being stuck in traffic on I-20 since 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
