Driver sought in Roswell Rd motorcyclist hit-and-run

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Sandy Springs police are trying to identify the person responsible for a serious injury crash on Roswell Road about 4 a.m. at the westbound entrance ramp to Interstate 285.

A motorcyclist was traveling south on Roswell Road when it was hit by vehicle, described as a white Jeep Grand Cherokee, that turned in front of and collided with the bike.

The Cherokee driver fled west on I-285, police said. The Cherokee is missing the grill and entire front bumper assembly. The victim was taken to Atlanta Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.
