Temperatures to drop throughout the night

What started out as a wet, rainy day ended up turning into a warm, sunny afternoon.

But Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns says we’re in for a big change starting tonight.

“By 11 p.m. most, if not all, of northern Georgia will be in the mid-to upper 40s in the metro and even the high 30s in the northeast Georgia mountains,” Burns said.

Friday is expected to be clear, but temperatures will be more typical for this time of year, with highs in the mid-50s.
