Deputies: Man jailed twice in 2 weeks for impersonating officer

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — For the second time in two weeks, deputies have jailed a man in Paulding County for allegedly impersonating a police officer.

Jail records show Matthew Jagger was charged with a felony earlier this month.  He had reportedly claimed to be an Atlanta police officer while meeting women on a dating website.

Earlier this month we told you about a Dallas man arrested in a fully equipped police K-9 car with flashing red lights and siren.

Deputies told Channel 2 Action News even though Juan Velazquez had four weapons and a police dog in his car, he was not a police officer or a licensed security guard.
