Deputies investigate KKK flyer distribution in Newton County

NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — Newton County sheriff's officials said they are investigating a Klu Klux Klan flier distribution in the area.

They said they received several complaints of fliers being placed on lawns and in driveways, inviting residents to join the KKK.

The fliers are being placed inside plastic bags along with rocks, sheriff's officials said.

They said they are trying to identify and interview witnesses to find out who is behind the fliers.
