Police are investigating a double-shooting in Lithonia that left a brother dead and another injured.
DeKalb County police confirmed the shooting in the 1500 block of Tunbridge Wells Crescent at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the brother who died was 23-years-old. The one who was shot was 24, police said.
Police said the brothers were babysitting their sister's kids and the older brother rushed three children away from the house after the shooting.
According to police, the brothers had a couple of women over at the time.

At one point, the 23-year-old brother went to the backyard to check on the dogs.
Police said he was apparently assaulted, shot and killed. That's when the 24-year-old brother went outside and was shot in the arm, according to police.
Police said the suspects got away.
The woman who were inside the home ran away as well, police said.
Investigators said they are looking into whether or not the incident was a set up.
