ATLANTA — Atlanta firefighters are working to determine what caused a massive brush fire in Buckhead.
Fire crews were called out to a brush fire behind an apartment complex at Buford Highway near Sidney Marcus Boulevard and Lenox Road.
Channel 2′s Elizabeth Rawlins was there as crews put out the flames in the last hour.

“There was a lot of heat, a lot of fire, a lot of hazards in the area, which had propane tanks that were exploding,” said Buckhead Battalion Chief Quincey Watts.
There was a homeless camp located near the spot of the brush fire.
“I was out for a walk and I couldn’t tell what was going on, but I saw all of the smoke,” Jonathan Morgan told Channel 2 Action News.

It’s still unclear what caused the fire, but it took crews several hours to get it under control.
The section of Buford Highway was shut down for several hours and traffic was diverted.
No one was injured, and the fire remains under investigation.
