Cheedo, the 130-pound Cane Corso, was barking for help when neighbors close by followed the sounds and found Cheedo in the well.

The well had been covered up with planks of wood that had rotted.

Rescuers were able to get Cheedo out by using a rope. Cheedo is doing well after his owner took him to a local veterinarian’s office.
