Convenience store clerk shot to death in armed robbery in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Deputies are searching for three men they say walked into a dollar store in Warner Robbins early Tuesday morning and shot a clerk to death before getting away with cash.

The robbery happened at the J&J Dollar Store (also known as the Knodishal Gift Shop) on Knodishal Drive around 12:15 a.m.

Deputies said several witnesses were inside when three men with handguns walked in and started robbing the store’s clerks and at least one patron.

One of the suspects hit a clerk in the head with a gun and then shot her in the chest, police said. She was taken to the hospital, where she died. She has been identified as Sabrina Renee Dollar, 43.

The suspects were all wearing dark clothing and full masks. Police said they ran from the store on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

Police have not released any more information on the suspects.
