COBB COUNTY, Ga. — On this Veterans Day, a Cobb County elementary school is doing their part to honor our nation’s veterans, even in the time of COVID.

Rocky Mount Elementary School usually does an in-person Veterans Day tribute but couldn’t this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Students will not be able to escort the visitors in their dress uniforms or combat boots—the visitors they are so proud to call mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, or just friend,” the district said in a post on Facebook.
