UPDATE: Missing Woodstock veteran with Alzheimer’s found safe

WOODSTOCK, Ga. — UPDATE: A missing Woodstock veteran with Alzheimer’s has been found safe after he left home on Thanksgiving Day and his family hadn’t heard from him since.

Edward Randolph, 90, was last seen Thursday at the Avonlea Apartments on Town Lake Parkway. His grandson, Trevor Randolph, said that his grandfather took his keys and left the location sometime before 5:30 p.m.

Trevor Randolph said his family was unaware that his grandfather knew where the keys were and that he doesn’t drive anymore.

A Mattie’s Call was issued for Randolph on Saturday night. Randolph was found safe shortly afterwards.
