COBB COUNTY, Ga. — At least one person was killed in a crash outside a Marietta high school Friday afternoon.
The accident happened on Piedmont Road outside the entrance to Sprayberry High School, according to Cobb County Police.

Police confirmed that the crash involved a motorcycle.

NewsChopper 2 was over the scene, where it appeared at least one other car was involved.
The road was shut down between Sprayberry Drive and the entrance to the high school but has since reopened.

Police have not released any information on the victim or said if anyone is facing any charges.
Sprayberry High School let out for the summer on Wednesday.
