COBB COUNTY, Ga. — When his daughter called to say her boyfriend hit her, a Cobb County deputy jumped in his car and drove to Tallahassee, Florida, officials said.
Chester Coachman Jr. was arrested at about 3:25 a.m. Thursday, after he allegedly pulled a gun on the boyfriend's brother, Juleon Camel, according to a Tallahassee police report.
Lauren Coachman told her father that her boyfriend, Leon Camel, stole the keys to her apartment and took her car, the report said.
When the 52-year-old father arrived at the boyfriend’s apartment, he met Leon Camel’s brother, Juleon Camel, who told police the father was angry, pulled out a gun and asked if he hit his daughter.
“Did you hit my child?” Chester Coachman allegedly asked while pointing a gun at Juleon Camel, according to the report.
When the Tallahassee police officer asked the deputy why he drove from Atlanta, Chester Coachman said he wanted to get his daughter’s keys back.
