COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Cobb County police say a driver has life-threatening injuries following a crash the shut down part of Interstate 285 in Cobb County.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. Thursday, investigators said Marko Stulic, of Marietta, hit the back end of a flatbed tractor-trailer in the northbound lanes of I-285 near Paces Ferry Road.

The impact of the crash sent Stulic's Chevrolet Colorado spinning. The vehicle finally stopped in two other lanes of the interstate.
As police investigated the crash, they had one lane of 285 open until they finally cleared the scene around 2:30 p.m.
Police said Stulic was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the flatbed was not seriously hurt.
