COBB COUNTY, Ga. — The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of its southside precinct.

The ceremony was held at the Threadmill Mall along Old Gordon Road in Mableton, at 11 a.m. The location will replace Station A.

Field operations units including K-9 and F.A.S.T., will operate from the new precinct.
Designated officers from the Cobb County Police Department’s VIPER unit will also be stationed there.
