Clerk shooting suspects wanted in separate store robbery

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Police said suspects who shot and killed a store clerk in College Park on Saturday, tried to rob another convenience store four hours later in Clayton County.

"These guys are bad. They're armed and dangerous and if they shoot a guy and four hours later they try to rob another place, they need to be behind bars," Maj. Linda Burke of the College Park Police Department said.

Saturday, Alagie Dibba, 28, was shot just seconds after two men entered a College Park convenience store.

On surveillance video, the men can be heard saying "put your hands up" before the gun goes off.

Police said at about about 3:45 a.m. Sunday three men, two of them fitting the same description as the two robbers, in College Park, enter a store with guns drawn.

This time their faces are covered and their distinctive clothing, an Aeropostale jacket is turned inside out.

"It's clear they realized their clothing may give them away, so they turned the clothing around," Burke said.

Burke is asking anyone with information to call College Park police at 404-766-3618.
