CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County police are searching for a 16-year-old boy with autism who vanished from a Home Depot parking lot Monday.

Police said Alejandro Carranza was last seen around 10:30 a.m. at the Home Depot in on Mt. Zion Road Morrow on Jan. 30. He was riding in his tan 2006 Toyota Highlander with license plate number BRZ4875.

His father told police that Carranza left the Home Depot without his permission. Angel Carranza said his son suffers from disruptive mood disorder, autism and kleptomania.
Alejandro was last seen wearing a green and black jacket and green pants. He’s described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Surveillance photos captured the car in the Hamilton Mill area around 3 p.m. but it’s unclear if Carranza was driving the vehicle.

A Mattie’s Call has been issued for Alejandro Carranza. Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Clayton County police department.
