Brr! Cool mornings ahead all this week

Brr! You could be waking up to temperatures in the 40s.

ATLANTA — Grab your jacket Tuesday! Some parts of Georgia are seeing temperatures drop to the 40s, Meteorologist Brian Monahan said.

Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking how long this will last, on Channel 2 Action News.

Temperatures across the state are in the 30s and 40s for most areas Tuesday morning.

"It's the coldest we’ve been area-wide since early May," Monahan said.

Monahan said Atlanta will make it to around 70 later Tuesday.
