Duvall seemed to hurt his wrist, making a play at the wall as he ran down a foul ball hit by Shohei Ohtani during Saturday’s 7-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
The 33-year-old Duvall is batting just .213 this season with 12 home runs, splitting playing time in left field with Eddie Rosario and Marcell Ozuna.
Braves Manager Brian Snitker says Adam Duvall will have surgery on his left wrist. He’s not sure if it will be season ending surgery. Waiting to see how the surgery goes. #ForTheA

Despite his struggles at the plate this season, Duvall was a crucial piece in the team’s World Series run in 2021, hitting a grand slam in Game 5 against the Astros.
Duvall is in his second stint with the Braves, playing with the team from 2018-2020.
Duvall signed with the Miami Marlins before the 2021 season and was then reacquired by the Braves at the trade deadline, helping them get a ring.
Duvall’s current contract with the Braves is set to expire at the end of the year.
