Bagels recalled over metal fragments

ATLANTA — A baked goods company is recalling several brands of bagels due to possible metal fragments that may be found in the products.

The recall covers Thomas, Sara Lee, Publix and Weight Watchers bagels sold in the Southeast. The products have "best by" dates from Jan. 18 to Jan. 27. Click here for a detailed list of the items.

BBU Inc. announced the voluntary recall Wednesday, saying the concerns stem from a faulty manufacturing part. There are no reports of injuries, but the company said metal fragments were found in two packages.
