Showers, storms moving through overnight

ATLANTA — A line of showers and some storms moved through metro Atlanta early Friday morning.

Heavy rainfall started to come down in the area where a bridge caught fire and collapsed along Interstate 85.

All of north Georgia was in the area for a slight risk of severe storms Thursday night.

Lightning is believed to have been the cause of a tree down on a house in Lithonia early Friday morning.

There were no other reports of storm damage as of Friday morning.
