Over the weekend, signs went up marking the Jovita Moore Memorial Highway, which is on a section of State Route 13 from the the Interstate 75/85 exit ramp to Peachtree Road.

The road, which provides a view of Atlantic Station and Midtown ends at Rhodes Hall, is the same one Moore drove every day on her way into the WSB-TV television studios, which are located on West Peachtree Street.

The resolution to rename the road was introduced by Georgia representatives Park Cannon, Erica Thomas, Billy Mitchell, Calvin Smyre and James Beverly.
