Metro Atlanta girl loves Target so much that she had her birthday party there

EAST POINT, Ga. — Some people love Target, but Brayden is obsessed.

Her aunt posted pictures of Brayden’s 8th birthday at Target on Twitter and they’ve gone viral. Her tweets have been retweeted nearly 70,000 times and have been “liked” almost 600,000 times.

Target doesn’t normally do parties, but Brayden’s family asked for permission at the store on Camp Creek Parkway in East Point.

Brayden and her friends dressed up in Target uniforms and even had the name tags. The girls had a scavenger hunt and ate a Target-decorated birthday cake.

“They were basically like Target team members, which was pretty cool,” Alberto Sanchez, executive team leader of human resources at the Target, told CNN. “They were great. It was cool. It was as loud as the little 8-year-old girls can be. It was joyful loud.”

Her family bought Brayden and her friends gift cards so that they could buy an item of their choice at the store.
