Get free admission to dozens of Georgia’s historical sites to celebrate Super Museum Sunday

ATLANTA — Learn a little bit about Georgia’s history as the state’s historical sites offer free admission for Super Museum Sunday.

“Walk in the footsteps of Revolutionary War and Civil War soldiers, see the Cherokee Nation’s first newspaper, or admire President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s hand-controlled roadster,” as you explore more than 100 historical sites across the state either in person or online – all for free.

“Georgians and visitors alike experience our state’s rich history and cultural life as historic sites, house museums, art museums, and other points of interest throughout Georgia open their doors for an exceptional opportunity to experience the history in our own backyard,” the Georgia History Festival said on its website.

Super Museum Sunday is Feb. 5, 2023.
