Clayton County police name armed robbery suspect

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County police are searching for a man they same committed armed robbery at a Waffle House in Jonesboro.

Police say they were called to the Waffle House location on Tara Blvd. at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday to reports of an armed robbery that had just happened. It is unclear what the alleged thief was able to get away with.

Detectives later identified Marcus “G” Goings, 28, as the suspect in the armed robbery.

Goings is from South Carolina, but is believed to still be in the Clayton County area.

He is 6′2″ and approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen in a light pink hoodie.

Goings also has warrants out for his arrest in South Carolina, but what those charges are have not been released.

Anyone with information on where Goings is or anyone who sees him should call 911.
