PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Atlanta Braves suffered a brutal loss in the first game of the NLDS on the Phillies’ home field.
Atlanta fell to Philly 9-1 in Friday night’s Game 3.
The Braves now trail 2-1 in the series making it a win or go home situation in Saturday’s Game 4 in Philadelphia.
If the Phillies pull out a win then, they’ll move to the NL Championship Series and end the reigning World Series champs’ bid to defend their crown.

A three-run homer from Rhys Hoskins and a two-run hit from Bryce Harper gave the Phillies a quick lead that would grow to 6-0 by the end of the third inning.

First pitch for Game 4 is scheduled for 2:07 p.m. and the Braves are sending Charlie Morton to the mound to keep the season alive.
